Old Pulteney Scotch Whisky with a hint of seafarer

It's been distilling in the seafaring Scottish town of Wick since 1826, when Wick was a thriving fishing town accessible only by sea.

Much has changed in the near 200 years since, but Old Pulteney still aims to carry a hint of sea air in each of the single malts it releases. Case in point: the 35YO – it's aged on the Caithness coast in former bourbon barrels, providing a sweet and spicy flavour on the palate before giving way to the distiller's signature flavour profile on the finish – honey, raisins, a touch of Californian orange and, of course, that characteristic hint of the sea – a tribute to its own rich heritage.
