Escape the City with CARE International

The Challenge
Leading overseas aid and development agency, CARE International, is calling for professionals from the City to join the CARE Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge. Taking place on the 18 September, teams will scale the 3 highest peaks in the stunning Yorkshire Dales, all in target time of 10 hours.

The Cause
Funds raised will support CARE’s work, which reaches 59 million of the world’s poorest people each year. CARE creates lasting change in poor communities and puts money where it is most needed. For example, CARE is responding to the food crisis in Niger by distributing food and animal feed to some of the 7 million people affected. CARE is also working to help rebuild the lives of some of the 1.3 million people left homeless by the devastating earthquake in Haiti that hit earlier this year.
