The City Invitational Cup and gala dinner

Join cricket legends Matthew Hoggard, Mark Ramprakash Paul Nixon and Chris Read at a special charity Twenty20 match and gala dinner. At the Honourable Artillery Company, Ramprakash’s Soldiers’ Charity XI will take on Hoggard’s City Select XI. Sales of match packages, and a chance to play, end on September 6 – so if you want to bowl out Ramprakash you better be fast.

After the match, enjoy a three-course dinner in the Prince Consort rooms at the HAC, attended by the players and City professionals. A live auction will be held between the main course and dessert, with a host of experiences and prizes on offer to the highest bidders. There will also be a chance for guests to quiz the cricket legends in an informal Q&A session. Expect a fair few Ashes 2005 questions directed at Mr Hoggard.
