On 7 November, South Place Hotel invites you to the unveiling of its Annual Art Prize 2014. Architect graduate Kaan Alpagut and his winning piece Kolaj – a floating sculpture with a void, subverting the relationship between the frame and the composition itself – will be displayed in a dedicated window on the ground floor.
The annual competition, in its third year, is open to recent MA graduates, providing the opportunity for emerging artists to display their work to the general public of the Square Mile. The collection includes a variety of disciplines from sculpture and painting to photography, video installation and printmaking, a result of partnerships between the hotel and with local artists and galleries.
