Tom Aikens will host a special butchery evening with Lake District Farmers at Tom’s Kitchen, Chelsea.

Starting with a butchery demonstration, guests will be served an exclusive four course tasting menu, using the quality produce from the evening’s demonstration, accompanied with matching wines. 

Each course will be introduced by Dan Austin from Lake District Farmers, and Eric Telford, their mutton farmer. Lake District Farmers supply premium quality, breed specific meat products throughout the UK, whilst supporting the farmers and their local community within the Lake District.  

The menu will include:

  • Classic Steak Tartare
  • Rack of Herdwich Mutton Cutlets on a bed of white beans, black olives, braised and crisp shallots
  • Blackberry & Plum Fool with blackberry sorbet and honeycomb
  • Lancashire Bomb drizzled with truffled honey.

We apologise for making you hungry. Fortunately, you can go along and enjoy the dishes yourself. The event starts at 7pm on Wednesday 28 September with tickets sold at £70 per person (to be paid upon reservation).
