Being cool is hard work. Trust us, we should know. Sometimes, even the cool kids have to embrace their inner geek – and now seems as good a time as any, thanks to Danish brick company LEGO announcing that they've teamed up with Italian supercar maker Ferrari to create the LEGO Ferrari F40.

Made from 1,158 individual pieces, the set is a replica 1:15 scale model of one of the most iconic supercars ever made. As you'd expect from LEGO, the attention to detail is nuts – both front and rear clamshells open in the same manner as the original, the headlights pop up, and the windscreen shape and wheel design mimic the real-life F40's brilliantly.

At £69.99, it's pretty expensive for a toy – but it's still the cheapest supercar you're ever going to buy. It's on our Christmas list already…
