Sometimes all it takes is one idea, like creating functional designer furniture at affordable prices. That was the vision of the two Danish craftsmen who founded BoConcept…

The tradition for high quality craftsmanship combined with functionality and simplicity became the key success factor for Danish furniture design and production in the 1950s – a success embodied by interior design company BoConcept. Success on home soil paved the road for export and soon the vision of the two craftsmen turned the company from a small furniture factory into Denmark’s most global retail furniture chain with more than 250 successful stores in more than 50 countries across. Denmark is still BoConcept’s HQ for both design as well as the manufacturing of the majority of its furniture. For the team behind the brand the ambition is still the same as back in 1952: to create good, honest and useful furniture for the urban-minded customer.

Urban Mindset

Urban life pushes us to find design solutions from limited space. BoConcept tackles this by ensuring that design and functionality go hand in hand – and by providing countless opportunities to customise a sofa or wall system to fit your individual needs regardless of where you live. And if you don’t have the first clue of what looks good where, BoConcept’s design consultants and interior decorators offer a dedicated and professional service to help anybody to achieve these room solutions.

Be Inspired

Great design knows no borders. The basic need to feel at home is just as important in Shanghai or Berlin as in New York City or Copenhagen. So let great Danish craftsmanship, urban design and your everyday need for functional furniture unite your home. We do.
