The aviation-inspired Horological Machine 4 has now landed: Jon Hawkins watches time fly.

MB&F stands for Maximilian Büsser and Friends, which sounds a lot more like a Swiss interpretive dance troupe than it does a collective of horological artisans led by a maverick watchmaking genius (which Büsser is).

This latest edition of the aviation-inspired Horological Machine 4 (nicknamed the ‘Thunderbolt’) features cheeky pinups hand-painted onto the titanium fuselage in a homage to World War II aircraft nose art.

There are two designs to choose from: Razzle Dazzle [pictured here] and Double Trouble, and eight of each will be made. Clocks away, boys!
