If, as Patek announced at Baselworld, 2010 is ‘the year of the chronographs’, then the achingly beautiful, 1940s-styled £42,850 5170J is the watch of the year. The manually-wound calibre with double-pusher chrono, is housed in a yellow-gold case and was developed and crafted entirely in-house.
