Ronan Sayburn, master sommelier at The Dorchester shares five tips thatll have you wine tasting like an old pro1.Taste...
The innovative system will offer its members wines with as much as 50% off the original retail price. Some of the best UK Sommeliers, Matt Wilkin and Andrea Briccarello, along with wine writer, Chris Losh, hand select the ever-changing list of available wines.
The club is free to join and members will have access to new wine sales every week as well as advice on tasting notes, food matches, and other expert wine knowledge. The wines will be available for two weeks (or until the stock runs out). SommelierCellar is able to offer such good prices because there is no need for them to manage a long list of wines, or to organise restocking.
The impetus behind the SommelierCellar is to make buying wine easier. The idea came from Edoardo Manitto who felt that buying wine was overly complicated due to consumers being bombarded with choice. Offering members a selection of wines picked by award winning sommeliers at low prices removes the confusion and makes buying wine a pleasant experience.
