Wine tasting is back in fashion – and the 120 year old French culinary school, Le Cordon Bleu is going the extra mile to ensure your palate is adequately trained for the biggest revival since the vintage watch.
The world's leading culinary arts, wine and management establishment has taken it upon itself to cater for London's rejuvenated thirst for vino and to arm the capital with knowledge of one of France's culinary signatures: the canape.
Expanding out of Paris to open its first British outpost in Sloane Street in 1931, the school knows a thing or two about the city and its appetite. Just ask Queen Elizabeth II, who Cordon Bleu catered for on her coronation day in 1953.
You, too, can have a taste of the royal treatment as part of Canapés and Wine Tasting at its state of the art premises in Bloomsbury Square. During the experience, you'll attend a wine lecture and be treated to an interactive 2.5-hour culinary demonstration, with plenty of tasters along the way.
You'll even be given a recipe pack so that you can channel your inner Marco Pierre White at home. I mean, if it's good enough for Her Maj...
