Rolex and Patek Phillippe have historically been front-runners in the luxury watch market. That was until Heur entered the game.

Of late, Heuer's prices have steadily risen across its collections, with the rarest Autavias finally hitting the six-figure mark.

If you've coveted the horology from the Swiss brand, you're in luck. Established auction house, Fellows' July Watch Sale is auctioning 30 vintage pieces ranging from the later quartz dive watch estimated to reach between £400 - £600, to the iconic Monaco expected to sell in the range of £7000 - £9000.

Examples from other up-and-coming vintage brands including a Sherpa-Graph, Jet-Graph, Favre Leuba Bathy 50 and a Universal Genève Tri-Compax moon phase chronograph will also be displayed.

Not forgetting the classics, Rolex' GMT Master Reference 6542 from 1958 with the original Bakelite bezel will also be making an appearance and is expected to be sold for between £20,000 -£30,000.

So whether you're looking to purchase a newer timepiece or invest in a little bit of the past, get your bids in early.

The Watch Sale catalogue is now available to view online and in person at the following times: 18th July 2017 12pm - 7pm (London), 22nd July 2017 11am - 4pm (Birmingham), 24th July 2017 10am - 4pm (Birmingham), 25th July 2017 8.30am - 11.00am (Birmingham):The auction will take place on Tuesday 25th July, starting at 11am.
