As the old adage goes, “You spend time on land, you live life on water.” Never has that been more true than onboard Celebrity Edge, the newest ship to join the Celebrity Cruises fleet.

There’s nothing quite like waking up to a new view every day; to miles of open blue water; to sun-drenched decks and pools; and to a wealth of restaurants and bars within a few minutes’ walk of your accommodation.

One of the most futuristic ships on the sea, Celebrity Edge offers all this – and more. From the Mediterranean to the Caribbean, there’s nothing quite like sailing like a celebrity.

Suite sensation

For the ultimate Celebrity Edge experience, consider booking one of her Iconic Suites. For a start, their position high up at the top of the ship guarantees a real king-of-the-world feel thanks to the panoramic views.

Ideal for families, the Iconic Suites will sleep six comfortably, with 1,880sq ft of space, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a shower, whirlpool bathtub, butler’s pantry and more. And that’s just inside – outdoors there’s a sun deck and a hot tub. And as a suite guest, you also have access to a concierge service, the suite lounge, an exclusive pool bar and a dedicated contemporary restaurant, Luminae.

Still not enough? The Penthouse Suites come with even more floor space, plus walk-in wardrobes and a host of other mod cons.

Few resorts – let alone ships – have the range of food and drink options available aboard Celebrity Edge with her 29 drinking and dining options

Or there’s the Edge Villas: perched at the cusp of the ship’s hull, these offer a secluded slice of luxury across two levels. Each of these sleeps four and has its own plunge pool.

The ship’s accommodation is as stylish as you’d hope, masterminded by Kelly Hoppen MBE, and an all-star team of architects. Hoppen also created the Infinite Balcony in the Edge Stateroom – as epic as it sounds.

Fare share

Few resorts – let alone ships – have the range of food and drink options available aboard Celebrity Edge, with her 29 drinking and dining options (30 if you include your own terrace).

The food offering on Celebrity Edge has been created by the brand’s Michelin-starred chef Cornelius Gallagher to encompass everything from casual dining to speciality restaurants and international cuisines.

The ship’s four main dining options are complimentary for all guests. These include the Italian-influenced Tuscan Restaurant; Mediterranean food from Cyprus Restaurant; the new American-style Cosmopolitan Restaurant; and the modern French-style Normandie Restaurant. At each one, you can settle in knowing the bill’s taken care of (aside from drinks) before you even have your starter.

The ship will boast the world’s first Advanced MediSpa at sea where you can have everything from dermal filler treatments to Botox

There’s even more included in your trip: the Oceanview Café, Mast Grill, Spa Café & Juice Bar and Eden Café are all perfect for a quick and easy snack or a spot of light lunch.

The classic restaurant Luminae is exclusive to Suite guests, and the spa-inspired Blu – which features light, vibrant, fresh cooking served alongside natural and biodynamic wines – is exclusive to Aquaclass guests.

For adventurous diners, there’s a plethora of speciality restaurants available. From steakhouses and seafood bars to casual grill restaurants and a dining experience atop a giant cantilevered platform that snakes its way up the ship, there’s something to suit every palate. And if you’re in the mood for a drink, one of her 11 bars and lounges will cater to every mood, whether you fancy a coffee in the morning sun, or a martini as it goes down.

Wishing on a Spa

Guests can enjoy a range of treatments in the Celebrity Edge spa, including a new collection of Elemis Biotec facials. It’s also the first ship to feature a Spa Wave MLW Amphibia table, where water-filled cushions provide ultimate comfort. The ship will boast the world’s first Advanced MediSpa at sea, Ideal Image Ocean, where you can have everything from dermal filler treatments to Botox. And there’s a Kérastase full-service salon, where specialists will diagnose haircare needs and prescribe personalised treatment. The result? You’ll leave the ship looking and feeling better than ever.

Of course, after a trip on Celebrity Edge, you may never actually want to leave…
